About Me

Hello world! My name is Gloria Campos. I am a mother of 3 grown children. An empty Nestor so to speak . Taking time to explore the magnificent world of creative writing. I left the corporate world of hotel management to explore writing, family, and other business ventures. I’m extremely passionate about life and believe we should never take our lives for granted. I live with the motto to live with purpose. Be grateful for every single day, for tomorrow is never ever promised.

Sappho, spelled (in the dialect spoken by the poet) Psappho, (born c. 610, Lesbos, Greece — died c. 570 BCE). A lyric poet greatly admired in all ages for the beauty of her writing style.

Her language contains elements from Aeolic vernacular and poetic tradition, with traces of epic vocabulary familiar to readers of Homer. She has the ability to judge critically her own ecstasies and grief, and her emotions lose nothing of their force by being recollected in tranquillity.
